Hinged, Sliding or Fixed - there are so many combinations of window and door systems it takes an Aurthorised Amplimesh dealer, with their experience in selecting and recommending the right screening solution, to personally consult with you on the best options for your home.

Insect Screens for Hinged & Sliding Windows

All our Amplimesh framed insect screens for hinged and sliding windows, are designed and manufactured with high quality extruded aluminium to Australian standard AS1866.

With a wide choice of frame options, your local Amplimesh Dealer will recommend the best choice of frame and window accessory for your particular needs.

We don’t cut corners. Where some competitors use plastic corners to assemble their aluminium fly screens, Amplimesh Dealers only use high quality and precision cut aluminum internal corners. This not only increases the screen’s aesthetic appeal, but also makes it much stronger, reducing the tendency to warp or bend over a long period of time.

Screens easily clip out. One of our more popular hinged window screen solutions is to install removable hinges, this allows for the easy removal and storage of fly screens during winter.

Quality that is nearly Invisible: Amplimesh Hinged insect windows are made with durable fibreglass insect mesh that is a charcoal colour with excellent see through visibility and superior airflow.  With insect screens in place, you can leave your windows open on a hot day, safe in the knowledge that you will keep out unwanted flies and other bugs.

Insect Screens for Doors - Sliding & Hinged

All our aluminium framed insect screens, for both sliding and hinged doors, are designed and manufactured from high quality extruded aluminium to the AS1866 standard.

Our low profile track fits neatly to the outside of the joinery. A mid rail provides extra strength and an optional kick rail protects the bottom of the screen from damage.

Sliding Rollers that make a difference: The Amplimesh Sliding Insect Screen Doors use an exclusive bottom rolling wheel system. Quality cast corners hold the bottom mitres of the screen in place and an extra thick nylon wheel glides on a solid brass pin. An invisible screw inside the sliding door channel, allows the insect screens to be adjusted accordingly.

Hinged Door Closers: These are sometimes specified in back door screen applications. Our Austral brand hinged door closers are made in Australia, have a reliable and robust all metal construction and are well proven for their effectiveness in New Zealand climatic conditions. Available in a choice of two colours - black or white – our hinged door closers offer an adjustable closing speed for safety and convenience.

Quality that is nearly Invisible: Amplimesh Sliding Insect Screen Doors are designed and made with a charcoal coloured and durable fibreglass insect mesh with excellent seethrough visibility and superior airflow.  With insect screens in place, you can leave your  doors open on a hot day, safe in the knowledge that you will keep out unwanted flies and other bugs.

Pets are important members of the family but their claws can quickly ruin your new Sliding Screen! Pet owners are recommended to screen their doors with Pet-Screen mesh for extra protection. Made of strong vinyl coated polyester, this heavy duty insect mesh offers good outdoor visibility whilst providing extra resistance from  damage caused by pets.
